Management vs Leadership

Certainly! Here’s the formatted text:”What’s the difference between leadership and management? In my opinion, management is a more dictatorial, authoritarian role, and that’s not the role that I like to play in business. I prefer to take on the role of leadership, which is to inspire by example.

Today, I’m at Kilworth House, meeting a couple of members of my team to discuss where they’re at, where they’re going, what they want to do, and how they’re going to do it. Because when people are part of my team, they are not there for my benefit, as I see it; I’m here for their benefit. My goal is to inspire them, provide direction, and brainstorm ideas because their success is my success.

Although a company is a product of the people within it, sometimes people at the top forget that it’s the people, and the collective efforts of these people, that create the company, not those at the top who may sometimes take them for granted. This is the example I strive to set, and it’s why I’m here today. I continually do all I can to inspire them because there is success in creating success. Just a thought I’d like to leave you with.”
